Edward's Eyes Patricia MacLachlan Atheneum Books $5.99	Edward's Eyes I love chasing things (only when no one is looking) so I had to include this book about a family that loves baseball. If I didn't live at Beach Books, this family would be my second choice: they all care about each other and sing and laugh and play a lot. It's by the author who wrote Sarah, Plain and Tall, so you know it will be a good book.
Garfield Books	Garfield! If you want a good laugh, you have to meet my friend Garfield! I keep telling him he needs to go on a diet, but he just smirks and says it's like the pot calling the kettle black.
Horses Yann Arthus-Bertrand Artisan Publishers $25.95	Horses These photographs of horses from all over the world are so beautiful they will take your breath away! I definitely need a horse friend in my life after seeing these portraits.

With illustrations that will make you giggle. And it ends with "once upon a time". I'd love to have you read this one to me any time!
Salmon Cynthia Nims Westwinds Press $14.95	Salmon Mmmm--Salmon! Just what I want for dinner. Now I simply have to convince my humans to make some for me! How about "Salmon and Scallop Terrine with Watercress Sauce"? This is part of the Northwest Homegrown Cookbook Series with four more books by French- trained chef, Cynthia Nims. It includes nice background on Pacific Northwest salmon in addition to recipes--and you'll love the watercolors.
